"This was my second time attending the women’s boxing seminar, and I came back because boxing with Coach Lita is the GOAT. I had reservations going into the seminar, thinking I wouldn’t be able to do it, but I can! Whoohoo!! Everything about the seminar was great. The pace was perfect for learning and reinforcing skills, and Coach Lita’s instruction was spot on, meeting the needs of each learner. Her enthusiasm, inclusiveness, and energy provided great guidance throughout the seminar. My two main goals going into the seminar were to practice in real life with others and to challenge myself. I was able to achieve both. I learned that my stamina, footwork, and ability to look up while punching and moving have improved. I also discovered that coordinating movements is still a challenge, and I tend to anticipate what’s coming next. I’m working on increasing my focus. You ROCK, Coach Lita!"

"Boxing was something I had wanted to do since childhood. I went into the women’s boxing seminar with the goals of learning the basics of boxing and hopefully continuing to practice. I had no reservations about the seminar and was excited to learn. I really enjoyed the full 4 hours, as Coach Lita is an amazing instructor. During the seminar, I learned the proper boxing stance and discovered that there are many parallels between boxing and life. I also learned some key life values and realized that boxing is a science. I would have loved to also have had punching bags, but I don’t think not having them took anything away from my experience. I really enjoyed the music, dancing break, and the foot game. This made it fun. I was looking forward to learning. I trusted coach Lita and she did a great job coaching and making it all understandable and empowering. During the boxing seminar I learned and achieved reminded and practised the boxing punches 1,2,3,4,5,6 How to move side to side with boxing footwork. Focus. That we are capable of anything. I had an awesome afternoon and it peaked my interest and rekindled my love for boxing. "

My two goals when I started where to get physically healthier, lose weight and tone my body. This was my 3rd beginner boxing seminar and I got to see the difference in my improvements from the first one. I really enjoyed putting on the gloves and making contact with the other women. I thought the seminar would be too long and I would get tired and not be able to keep up. Yet Coach Lita was able to keep the seminar fun, dynamic and interesting. During the seminar I was able to learn balance, technique, flexibility and strength. "I started boxing because I wanted to strengthen my mind and become a stronger person mentally. In the beginning I was nervous about the group setting as I have some social anxiety. I was also concerned about my age because I thought I wouldn’t be able to accomplish being competitive, especially due to my age as I thought boxing was more for younger people. Now, after starting classes my mindset due to Coach Lita’s positive feedback, has changed and I enjoy every bit of boxing and my confidence has grown. As a coach, she has been able to help me by talking me through things, and always being positive. She is pushing me to achieve my goals and has created a positive and comfortable space for me to come and take my mind off of things. Since I have started training. I feel stronger, I feel like I have an outlet for my mental health. I feel more motivated and I enjoy being a part of something socially. I look forward to being kept pushed as hard as I have been and for the consistent encouragement to keep me going. "

"Before I started boxing I was really worried about not knowing if I could learn it or not. I was not sure if I could stay committed or if my anxiety would get in the way. I wanted to learn how to protect and defend myself, and become more fit and active to boost my confidence. Coach Lita was very inviting. She accepted me into the group half way thru the 12 week training camp with open arms, and an open heart. She believed in me, which made me believe in myself. Now, I love boxing and look forward to every class. Since training with her I feel like I’m becoming better at the boxing moves. I feel stronger and more fit. My confidence and focus has improved. I don’t feel anxious when I’m at boxing. I feel proud and happy with myself. Since doing boxing; I feel stronger, mentally, physically, and I feel more confident in myself, and I am very happy I joined. "

"Before doing the Goat Yoga with Button Adventures I was not sure if I would be fit enough to hold the poses. I wanted to have fun while, de-stressing. Coach Lita was down to earth, and the class was not super strict, we laughed a lot and she was sensitive to my needs. I enjoyed moving my body while de-stressing relaxing, and enjoying the goats.
